Safflower seed is preferred by Cardinals and other songbirds.  It has gained in popularity because some Squirrels do not care for it.  For birds not used to it, Safflower should be introduced slowly among quality mix.  Over time, add more Safflower to the mix until the birds will tolerate it straight. Feed in our Tube, Hopper, Window and Platform Feeders.  (Products can be found at www.flatpatio.com!)
